Textile Artist Peggy Latta has created over 700 replica miniature gowns since 1990...many of which were copies of full size custom gowns she designed for her clients. She has sewn custom garments for 35 years and is an accomplished, award winning dressmaker.
Peggy is creative and inspired. Her keen attention to fine details elevates her sewing to an art form rarely seen in today's marketplace. She enjoys designing textile projects that transform beautiful gowns, and the memories attached to them, into treasured gifts and garments.
Working from her home studio in Pittsboro, Indiana, Peggy continues to develop and perfect her techniques, inspired by the beauty and magic of special occasion gowns. In January 2020, she is proud to introduce textile hARvesT...saving the planet one thrifted garment at a time.
